Course Description
Women's Only Triathlon
Swim :: 250 Yards
Participants will be treated to a unique 250 yard swim in the Monongahela River, known locally as the Mon River. All participants will start IN the water. Swim exit is next to the transition area.
Bike :: 7 Miles
This 7 mile bike along the Mon River giving participants a great view of the river and university.
Run :: 2 Miles
A beautiful out and back run course on the Deckers Creek paved bike path. Water, INFINIT fluid replacement, Hammer Gel, Ice, and various foods will be available at the transition exit and at the run turn around.
Half Distance
Swim :: 1.2 Miles
Participants will be treated to a unique 2-lap 1.2 mile swim in the Monongahela River, known locally as the Mon River. All participants will start IN the water. Swim exit is next to the transition area.
Bike :: 56 Miles
This 56 mile 3-lap bike will feature along the Mon River giving participants a great view of the river and university. The first and last three miles of the course are on the bike path allowing us to avoid the rough roads used in the past. 39 x 23 gearing is recommend for this course.
Run :: 13.1 Miles
A beautiful 2-lap out and back run course on the Deckers Creek paved bike path. Water, INFINIT fluid replacement, Hammer Gel, Ice, and various foods will be available approximately every mile.
Olympic Distance
Swim :: 0.93 Miles / 1500 Meters
Participants will be treated to a unique 2-lap 1500 meter swim in the Monongahela River, known locally as the Mon River. All participants will start IN the water. Swim exit is next to the transition area.
Bike :: 24.85 Miles / 40 Kilometers
This 40 km bike will feature along the Mon River giving participants a great view of the river and university. The first and last three miles of the course are on the bike path allowing us to avoid the rough roads used in the past. 39 x 23 gearing is recommend for this course.
Run :: 6.2 Miles / 10 Kilometers
A beautiful out and back run course on the Deckers Creek paved bike path. Water, INFINIT fluid replacement, Hammer Gel, Ice, and various foods will be available approximately every mile.
Sprint Distance
Swim :: 0.41 Miles / 750 Meters
Participants will be treated to a unique 750 meter swim in the Monongahela River, known locally as the Mon River. All participants will start IN the water. Swim exit is next to the transition area.
Bike :: 12.4 Miles / 20 Kilometers
This out and back 20 km bike along the Mon River giving participants a great view of the river and university.
Run :: 3.1 Miles / 5 Kilometers
A beautiful out and back run course on the Deckers Creek paved bike path. Water, INFINIT fluid replacement, Hammer Gel, Ice, and various foods will be available approximately every mile.
